Welshpool and Llanfair. Probably the same picture that every other visitor to Raven Square has taken but I still think it's a classic shot! Countess taking on water, the water tower would be a great structure to model, OK so it's a standard gauge item but it fits in perfectly. The loco' is easy enough to re-create, just costs a tad under 2 grand for a pearse model. Hmmm, how long would the MNGR take to raise such a fund? too long. |

Corris Railway. Maespoeth. A nice view towards Corris showing just some of the CR's loco's and stock. Brand new Kerr Stuart replica number 7 sitting in the yard, once the loco' crews have been trained in how to drive her, and she passes all the pre-service trials she should be hauling trains up the hill from Corris. |

Looking down the line towards Esgairgeiliog and beyond, Number 7 looks very pretty, I think my own Brazil class will soon have to be wearing this colourscheme. |

Esgairgeiliog station. the original station building is in an excellent state of preservation, the railway hasn't reached back this way yet, but it'll come. They plan to extend right down to the picnic area between here and llwyngwern. Of course I am now a member of the Corris society and look forward to regular updates on what has been going on there. |

Talyllyn Railway Their newest loco, built in Pendre works in 1991 on the chassis and boiler of an old 3 foot gauge peat company loco. (built by Andrew Barclay in 1948) number 7 TOM ROLT, looks a treat here at Wharf with the Quarryman train. |
